NECESITO UN SUEÑO/I NEED A DREAM
NECESITO UN SUEÑO.
Hoy he dormido fatal. Un insufrible dolor de muelas me ha
acompañado toda la noche. Me he levantado de la cama infinidad de veces sin que
me calmara ni enjuagues bucales ni pastillas ni bolsas de hielo en la boca
ni... nada de nada. Noche sin tranquilidad y sin sueños. Necesito un sueño para
afrontar el día. Un sueño propio que me haga sentir el calor del sol, la
vitalidad de la vida. Necesito un sueño para contar a mis amigos. Un bello
sueño fruto de una noche tranquila. No tengo nada que compartir con nadie si no
tengo un sueño.
No saldré de casa hasta no encontrarlo. Volveré a la cama
ahora que el dolor de muelas se ha calmado. Intentaré conciliar el sueño hasta
quedarme dormido y producir un sueño con el que sentirme humano.

I NEED A DREAM.
I fell asleep today. An insufferable toothache has
accompanied me all night. I got up from the bed countless times without being
pacified by mouth rinses or pills or ice packs in my mouth or ... nothing at
all. Night without peace and without dreams. I need a dream to face the day. A
dream of my own that makes me feel the warmth of the sun, the vitality of life.
I need a dream to tell my friends. A beautiful dream born of a quiet night. I
have nothing to share with anyone if I do not have a dream.
I will not leave the house until I find it. I'll go back to
bed now that the toothache has calmed down. I will try to reconcile sleep until
I fall asleep and produce a dream with which to feel human.
